One team. Two clocks. No mystery about who owns the work.

Suraket is set up for companies that want senior delivery without building a second company in another country.

Commercial ownership and client conversation sit on a Canada-facing rhythm. Engineering is led from Islamabad. You get both, as one studio.

See if this model fits

How the studio is arranged

Canada-facing ownership

Relationship, commercial terms, and executive conversation are handled as a North American-facing company, not as an anonymous overseas inbox.

Islamabad engineering

Design, architecture, and build sit with a team that can review work in the same room. That concentration is a quality choice.

US-hours overlap

Decision calls, weekly demos, and blockers are scheduled in the overlap, not dumped in a morning email the client cannot answer until tomorrow.

A named lead

Every engagement has a person who can speak for scope, date, and risk. You are not routed through a rotating account coordinator.

The questions US and Canadian buyers actually ask

Will we lose the day to time zones?

No, if the project is run on this model. Overlap is used for decisions. Deep build happens after. You should not wait twenty-four hours for a yes/no on a blocking question.

Is this staff augmentation?

No. You are not managing a bench of strangers in your own Jira as a second job. Suraket owns a defined outcome and the team that produces it.

What about quality and senior attention?

Senior people stay on the engagement. Code review, architecture, and QA are part of the studio, not an unpaid extra. If a project only works with twenty juniors and no owner, we will not staff it that way.

Who owns the intellectual property?

Upon the terms in the agreement and full payment, you receive the ownership and access rights defined in that agreement, including agreed source and handover materials. Third-party components stay under their licenses. We do not hold your product hostage.

How do you communicate?

English. Written decisions. A weekly demo. A risk list a non-engineer can read. Chat for small items. The contract is not a substitute for the weekly fact of the product.

What about security and access?

Access is least-privilege, project-scoped, and revoked at handover. We can work inside your repositories and cloud if that is the rule. We will not accept “email us the production database” as a process.

Weekly demo in overlap hours

What a normal week looks like

1

Monday overlap. Priorities, blockers, decisions needed from you.

2

Build and review. Engineering in Islamabad, with review as default.

3

Mid-week ping. Only if something is actually blocked.

4

Weekly demo. Working software, not a status novel.

5

Written note. What moved, what is at risk, what we need from you.
