Field work orders that match what actually happened on site

Multi-city telecom operations team

01

Overview

Installation and repair teams were running on WhatsApp groups, paper job sheets, and an ageing ticketing tool. Dispatch thought a job was closed. The customer thought nobody had come. Inventory on the van did not match inventory in the system.

02

Challenge

Leadership wanted “a field app.” The real problem was a trustworthy work order: assigned, executed, evidenced, and closed against the right customer and the right materials.

03

Solution

We delivered a mobile-first work-order product for technicians and a dispatch console for operations. Each job carried status, photos, parts used, and a close reason. Suraket designed the capture step so evidence was part of completion, not an optional afterthought. Integrations were limited to the ticketing and inventory systems already in play.

The result

Dispatch and field used one picture of the work. Repeat visits dropped because the first close had evidence. Operations could see stuck jobs the same day instead of discovering them in a weekly spreadsheet.
